PORTLAND 2019-20: Started all 31 games in which he appeared… averaged 9.6 points and was second on the roster with 5.1 rebounds per game… also second on the roster with 25 blocked shots… shot 55 percent from the field and made 2-of-3 three-point attempts… recorded double-doubles against CSUN (13 pts, 10 rebs) and Ball State (12 pts, 10 rebs)… double figures scoring 13 times… career-high 25 points on 9-of-12 shooting at Pepperdine… 18 points and four blocked shots at Saint Mary’s.
PORTLAND 2018-19: Appeared in all 32 games with 17 games started… averaged 5.7 points and 3.2 rebounds in just 13.8 minutes played per game… shot 54.4 percent from the field to lead the team… second on the roster with 24 blocked shots including seven games with multiple blocks… recorded five games with double digit scoring… season-high 14 points, six rebounds, three blocked shots and two steals in road win at CSUN (11/17)… tallied 12 points in games against Hawai’i (11/9), Loyola Marymount (2/9) and San Diego (2/21)… 48 career blocked shots ranks 18th on the Portland career charts… concluded the season ranked fifth in school history for career field goal percentage (.554).
PORTLAND 2017-18: Started 22 games and appeared in 30 games overall as a true freshman… second on the team in field goal percentage (.563), rebounds per game (4.2) and blocked shots (24)… averaged 6.4 points per game… reached double figures in scoring eight times and recorded three double-digit rebound games… tallied his first career double-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds and a season-best four blocked shots at Santa Clara (1/6)… scored a season-high 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting against Pepperdine (2/1)… season-high 11 rebounds at home against Santa Clara (2/15)… 14 points and seven rebounds in WCC Tournament meeting with Loyola Marymount (3/2)… six games with two or more blocked shots.
PREVIOUSLY: Moved to Japan to focus on year-round basketball development and education in 2014… put up remarkable scoring and rebounding numbers for Teikyo Nagaoka and helped lead his team to the 2016 Okinawa Cup, Japan's High School National Championships… averaged 31 points and 18 rebounds per game as a junior and was named the Most Valuable Player of the Okinawa Cup after leading the tournament in points and rebounds… scored 101 points in a single game – a victory against Nagaokaotte at the Nagaoka Tournament… scored 51 points in the 2016 Niigata Tournament Finals against Kaishi Kokusai to qualify for nationals and then erupted for 61 points in a game at the Okinawa Cup.Â
