2012: Recorded a time of 24:51.9 at the Panorama Farms Invitational en route to a 21st place finish… Finished 47th at the Wisconsin Adidas Invitational with a time of 24:01… Placed 24th at the Big 12 Championships with a time of 24:40.3… Recorded a 17th place finish at NCAA Regionals with a time of 30:46.21… Finished 89th at the NCAA Championships after recording a time of 30:38.8.

2011: Named to the Academic All-Big 12 first team ... Finished tied for 36th at the Big 12 Championships, clocking a time of 24:56.3 ... Placed 46th in the Chile Pepper Festival with a time of 30:53.0 ... Finished 14th with a time of 21:30 at the Hurricane Festival.

Summer 2011: Named to the U.S. Junior National Team after finishing fifth at the U.S. Cross Country Championships, covering the 8K course in a time of 25:16 ... Finished 56th at the IAAF World Junior Cross Country Championships with an 8K time of 25:12.

Denver Christian HS: 2009 3A Colorado State Cross Country Champion...2009 Foot Locker Cross Country Finalist, fnished 28th overall.. 2010 3A Colorado State Champion in the 1600.

PERSONAL: Born Ryan Poland on Jan. 7th, 1992 to parents George and Valerie... has one sibling, Ashley, and a brother, Kyle... major is History... transferred to UP because "GRAPE CRUSH."
