COACH PORTER ON SEYMOUR:Â " Hunter is an excellent athlete. He can rebound, defend and block shots at the Division I level. His motor runs hot and he has the ability to make continuous plays. He can defend both post and perimeter players which makes him a unique player on our roster. Hunter has done an outstanding job in the classroom and we hope that he will become one of the leaders on this team."

SEYMOUR ON PICKING PORTLAND: "The biggest thing for me was somewhere with a good business program and where I could get a quality degree. From a basketball standpoint, I wanted a place where I could develop skill-wise and where skill development was a focus. Portland had that more than others. They broke down how they would help and what I needed to work on, and that was unique. I'm an all-around player that values defense and rebounding. I can create mismatches on offense because of my size and mobility."
