PORTLAND 2016-17: Earned WCC Player of the Year honors and became the first Pilot to ever win the award... All-WCC First Team singles for the second straight season, joining Filip Zivkovic as the only players in school history to earn multiple first team honors… All-WCC First Team doubles for the second straight season with Mathieu Garcia, joining Filip Zivkovic/Evan Schleining as the only duos in school history to earn multiple first team honors… two-time WCC Singles Player of the Week and once named WCC Doubles Team of the Week… named the University of Portland U.S. Bank Student-Athlete of the Month in March after going 7-0 in singles and 6-0 in doubles for the month… nationally ranked in singles for a majority of the season with a high of No. 56 on Feb. 8… won four matches at the ITA Northwest Regionals to advance to the quarterfinals before falling to No. 17-ranked Andre Goransson of Cal… reached the quarterfinals of the Battle of the Bay Classic including a win over No. 48-ranked Logan Smith of USC… partnered with Mathieu Garcia to claim the top flight doubles title at the Larry Easley Memorial Classic… finished the year with a 25-7 overall singles record, 17-3 in dual singles at the top of the lineup, and 7-1 in WCC matches… also finished 15-8 overall and 11-6 in dual doubles.
PORTLAND 2015-16: All-WCC First Team in both singles and doubles with partner Mathieu Garcia… finished with a 13-6 dual singles record at the top of the lineup… went 19-9 overall in singles and 4-2 in WCC play… finished with a 2-1 record against nationally ranked opponents with three set wins over No. 84 Mitch Stewart (Washington) and No. 90 Alec Adamson (UC Davis)… won nine consecutive singles matches and 13-of-14 during the heart of the spring dual season… finished 10-6 in dual doubles, including 9-4 with Mathieu Garcia… overall doubles record of 15-10… won first two matches at ITA Northwest Regionals before getting knocked out in three sets by Cal’s Billy Griffin in the Round of 32… won all three matches in the top flight of the Bulldog Classic to claim co-champion singles honors… partnered with Felix Fan to earn co-champion honors at the Bulldog Classic in doubles after winning three matches.
PORTLAND 2014-15: Joined the team in January and earned All-WCC honorable mention singles honors... finished with a 12-6 dual singles record and 5-3 mark in WCC play between the No. 2-4 positions... opened the season by winning six of his first seven matches, all in straight sets… defeated Pepperdine’s Rakshay Thakkar in straight sets to help the Pilots beat the Waves for the first time in program history… posted an 8-8 dual doubles record playing with four different partners.Â
YOUTH TENNIS CAREER:Â Career-high ITF ranking of 196 and ATP ranking of 1,541... also ranked as high as the No. 3 player in Cyprus... competed for the Cyprus National Team at the U14 and U16 European Championships.
