UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND 2012-13: Set new career-highs in all statistical categories … started 17 games, while appearing in 29 total … had solid first start of the season against Portland State with nine points, four assists, three rebounds, two blocked shots and two steals in 23 minutes … followed up that performance with 11 points, six rebounds, three assists, four blocked shots and four steals in 37 minutes of action against New Mexico … finished second on the team in blocked shots (28) and steals (29) … ranked eighth in the WCC in blocked shots per game.
 
UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND 2011-12: Appeared in 14 games and started the season opener versus Florida Atlantic … scored a career-best four points in just three minutes of action versus Lewis & Clark College … two rebounds and two steals in seven minutes at Gonzaga.

UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND 2010-11: Appeared in seven games as a freshman … averaged 3.4 minutes per game… set career high with 12 minutes against UC Davis on Nov. 13 … also starred in the 100m and 200m dashes for Portland’s Outdoor Track and Field team.
 
WEST HS: Three year letterwinner for Will Smith … named Team MVP during junior and senior campaigns … named Project BEST Black Excellent Student … also played club basketball for Team Superstars (Fresno) and participated in Double Pump Camp during sophomore and junior year.

PERSONAL: Born Jan. 11, 1992 in Bakersfield, Calif. … he is the grandson of April and Johnny Hobson … also was one of the state's top sprinters in the 100m and 200m in Track and Field in high school.
