Biography
2020: All-WCC First Team... WCC All-Academic Team Honorable Mention... Led the Pilots in goals with five, including one game-winner... also led the Pilots in points with 10... ranked seventh in the WCC in goals scored, fifth in goals per game (0.56), eighth in points, seventh in points per game (1.11), sixth in shots on goal per game (1.44) and fourth in shot accuracy (0.565)... scored a hat trick in a season-opening 4-3 win over Oregon State (2/10/21)... also scored two goals in 2-0 victory over Pacific (3/6/21).
2019: United Soccer Coaches All-West Region Third Team … All-WCC First Team … United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-West Region Second Team … WCC All-Academic First Team … led the Pilots with eight goals, four game-winners, and 20 points … also tallied four assists … tied for fourth in the WCC in game-winners, was eighth in both points per game (1.18) and goals per game (0.47), and was ninth in overall points and goals … assisted on both goals during 2-1 win over Denver (Sept. 8) … scored two of the Pilots’ three goals in 3-0 win at Pacific (Nov. 1).
2018: United Soccer Coaches All-West Region Second Team … All-WCC First Team … WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention … started all 20 matches … ranked seventh nationally in both goals (15) and game-winners (6) … was also tops in the conference in goals and game-winners, and she added three assists to lead the league with 33 points … 15 goals are the most in a season for the Pilots since Danielle Foxhoven netted 25 during that same 2009 campaign … produced two of the three hat tricks recorded by a WCC player in 2018, and she's the first Pilot to score three goals twice in the same year since 2009 (Danielle Foxhoven) … against WCC opponents, she scored nine goals and collected 19 points, both league-bests … her first hat trick came during a 4-1 win at San Diego (Sept. 27) … second hat trick was against Pacific (Oct. 7), which was another 4-1 win.
2017: 12 starts and 19 appearances as a true freshman … scored one goal, a game-winner, and had one assist … the goal came in overtime of a 2-1 win at LMU (Oct. 14) … assisted on a goal at Saint Mary’s (Sept. 29) … 18 shots for the season, six on-goal.
NATIONAL TEAM: Took part in the U-15 U.S. National Team Camp in 2014 and the U-17 National Team Camp in 2015.
ODP: Played with Oregon ODP for three years (2012-14).
CLUB: Played with FC Portland, competing in the ECNL with fellow UP teammates Olivia Dendinger and Ellie Walker.

HIGH SCHOOL: Landed on the All-State First Team all four years playing for the Ridgefield Spudders ... was named the Washington 2A State Player of the Year in 2015 and 2016, was selected as the Region’s Player of the Year in 2015, and was a four-time pick to both the all-region team and the All-GSHL First Team … the Spudders won the GSHL title three years, while also claiming the district crown three times … Ridgefield reached the state playoffs all four years, and the Spudders finished second in state in 2015 for the school’s best finish ever, topping the third-place showing a year earlier … Ries claims impressive career numbers, registering 96 goals and 78 assists … she once scored six goals, while adding an assist, during a 7-0 win.
