PORTLAND 2022-23: All-WCC second team selection… averaged 15.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game while shooting 45 percent from the field, 40 percent from three-point range and 84 percent at the foul line… his 18.0 points per game in conference play was sixth best in the league… also was fifth in three-point percentage (.455), seventh in free throw percentage (.844) and blocked shots (0.8) and ninth in rebounding (6.3) during WCC action… recorded his 1,000th career point in a win versus San Diego on Jan. 19… double figures scoring in 22 games… 20 or more points seven times… recorded double doubles in wins over Portland State (15 pts, 11 rebs) and North Dakota (12 pts, 10 rebs)… matched career high with 28 points at San Francisco (2/23/23)… concluded UP career ranking sixth in career three-point percentage (.421), sixth in free throw percentage (.831) and ninth in threes made (144).
PORTLAND 2021-22: All-WCC honorable mention selection... averaged 14.2 points per game (9th in the WCC) and was second on the team in rebounding (6.0)... team leader in blocked shots (20), threes made (69) and three-point percentage (.442)… ranked fifth in the WCC in free throw percentage (.824) and seventh in free throws made (103)… career high of 15 rebounds versus Willamette (11/11/21)… recorded four double-doubles and scored in the double digits on 24 separate occasions… scored 20 or more points seven times… career high 28 points against San Diego (3/4/22) to lead the Pilots to a WCC Tournament victory.
UNLV 2020-21: Played in 27 games for the Runnin' Rebels with eight starts... tied for team lead in blocks per game with one... eclipsed double digit scoring eight times... scored a career-high 17 points against St. Katherine, shooting 7-for-8 from the field with three three-pointers (1/12/21)... scored 13 and 16 points in back-to-back games against Nevada (1/31/21 and 2/02/21)... recorded four blocks against Mountain West Conference powerhouse San Diego State (3/3/21).
UNLV 2019-20: Redshirt season.
TULANE 2018-19: Played in all 31 games for the Green Wave as a freshman with two starts... made 37.4 percent of his threes and 78.4 percent of his free throws... top bench scorer with 133 total points... put up 17 points against Memphis with six rebounds and three blocks... notched double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds against East Carolina (2/23/19).
GALENA HS: Three-star recruit and No. 5 prospect in Nevada according to ESPN.com… two-time All-Sierra League selection... North All-Region as a junior, averaging 17.8 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game... led team to NIAA 4A Northern Region semifinals after recording 24 points and 12 rebounds in regional quarterfinals in 74-51 win over McQueen.
PERSONAL: Born on May 3, 1999 in Limoges, France... son of David and Angela Wood... father played professional basketball for 15 years, including stints with the Chicago Bulls, Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs, Detroit Pistons, Golden State Warriors, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks and Milwaukee Bucks... two older brothers (Caleb and Josiah) and one younger brother (Isaac)... continuing post-graduate studies in the Pamplin School of Business.
