SUNSET HS: Four-year letterwinner for the Apollos … was named to the Oregon 6A All-State Second Team after helping the Apollos finish second in the state in 2013 … the Apollos also reached the state title game in 2011, when Luty was named the Championship's Player of the Game, and Sunset made it to the state semifinals in 2012 … a two-time All-Metro League Second Team selection, Luty earned first-team accolades as a senior in 2013 … she also garnered all-state honorable mention recognition in 2011 … team MVP in both 2011 and 2013.
 
CLUB: Played seven years for the Tualatin Hills United Soccer Club (THUSC) … her club team was ranked No. 1 in the state in 2013-14, was ranked 10th in the region and was No. 55 in the national rankings … THUSC claimed the 2013 OPL State Cup U-17 Championship and a handful of other tournament titles … her club team was a State Cup Finalist in 2012, her U-14 club team also won the state cup and she claimed a U-15 Regional Championship in 2011.
 
PERSONAL: Born on Sept. 25, 1995 in Portland, Ore. … her parents are Shelley Hand-Luty and Paul Luty … her mother played soccer and basketball at Idaho State, while her sister Angela Kays played soccer and basketball at Pacific University.
