Greetings Pilot Fans!
 
It's been an eventful week here on the Bluff! Last week we were happy to have a pair of home games after a long stretch on the road, with University of San Francisco on Thursday and Santa Clara on Saturday.
 
Thursday brought the USF Dons to the Chiles Center. Despite an early lead for the Pilots, the Dons kept pushing slowly back into the game to claim an eventual 73-72 win against us. Cassie was money from the field as she shot 10-13 for 23 points and Amy led on the boards with 10, but USF prevailed in the last few minutes of the game.
 
Next match-up was a Saturday afternoon tip versus Santa Clara. We were definitely ready for a re-match after an 7-point loss to the Broncos down in California earlier this season. We got off to a good start, but SCU didn't back down. It was a back and forth game, but we were able to push through in the end to secure a 75-55 win.  As a team, we combined to shoot nearly 60 percent in the second half and improve to 12-10 (5-6 WCC) on the year. The second half was where we gained a more significant lead as we shot 10 of 17 from the floor. CB and I scored 20 and 23, respectively, while Cassie pulled down 7 boards.
 
This week, we are busy preparing for two home games versus both LMU and Pepperdine. This means a lot of focus and practice, film, and scout, as we are heading into the second half of WCC play. Here are some post practice pics from this week!

Make sure you come check out your Pilots on the Bluff this week!! Thursday Feb 6th at 7pm versus LMU (my 21st birthday!!!) and Saturday a 2pm tip versus Pepperdine. On top of this, we have our annual Mother Daughter Clinic following Saturday's game. For more information on our event check out:
