PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots men's and women's track and field teams will compete at the Lewis and Clark Open on Friday and Saturday at Clackamas Community College and Griswold Stadium at Lewis and Clark.
Sophomore Maya Murphy-Cook and junior Courtney Vacek will begin the meet for the Pilots competing in the women's high jump on Friday evening. Junior second-team All-American Noah Schutte will then lead the Pilot men in the 3000m steeplechase to finish off the day.
On Saturday, Vacek will again begin the meet for the Pilots, this time competing in the triple jump. The rest of the Pilots will take part in their respective events throughout the day, with the majority of athletes running in the 1500m, 200m, and 5000m.
