PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots men's and women's track and field teams will send 13 Pilots to Sacramento, Calif., to compete at the 2018 NCAA West Preliminary. An in-depth preview for each student-athlete competing at the Preliminaries can be found below and in the attached notes. Live stats and video will be available for the meet and can be found in the links below or on portlandpilots.com on the day of the meet.

2018 Milestones
• Taryn Rawlings broke the UP 1500m Outdoor Record at the Portland Twilight, finishing second in a time of 4:14.50. She holds the fourth best time in the West
• Simon Grannetia and Noah Schutte both hold top-10 Western times in the 3000m steeplechase
• Both Grannetia and Schutte have ranked in the top-10 nationally in either the steeplechase or 10,000m this year
• Emmanuel Roudolff-Levisse has the eighth best Western time in the 10,000m
• 13 Pilots total qualified for the 2018 NCAA DI West Preliminary Championships
• The Portland men's track and Field team ranked as high as #42 by the USTFCCCA
