NORTHRIDGE, Calif. -- The Portland Pilots wrapped up its three-match road trip in Southern California by falling 3-0 to non-conference opponent Cal State Northridge Saturday night at The Matadome in Northridge, Calif. CSUN (4-8) won by scores of 25-21, 25-13 and 25-18.
Freshman Kate Bostwick came off the bench to lead the Pilots with a team-high five kills. Senior Maria Clemens posted four kills and also added five digs and four blocks. Sophomore Marissa Plummer had a match-high five blocks and also three kills.
CSUN was led by junior Brittany Williams’ match-high 12 kills.
The Pilots now sit at 3-11 overall. They return home to face Seattle in their final non-conference match on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chiles Center.
