Tuesday’s Game Shifted to Concordia

PORTLAND, Ore. --- UP baseball’s scheduled home opener set for Tuesday against Concordia has been shifted to Hilken Community Stadium on the Concordia campus in Northeast Portland due to unplayable conditions at Joe Etzel Field. The Pilots will still be the designated home team, however, when the teams take the field at 2 p.m.
 
Hilken Community Stadium is in its inaugural season as the home of the Cavaliers, and it features field turf.
 
Portland’s home opener will now be Friday when the Pilots open a three-game series with the Creighton Bluejays at 2 p.m.
