THIS WEEK
• The Portland Pilots play a pair of home games this weekend as they welcome the Oregon State Beavers and Boise State Broncos to the Chiles Center.
• Friday night's game against the Beavers is set for 7 p.m., while Sunday's tip with the Broncos is scheduled for 2 p.m.
LAST WEEK
• The Pilots won their lone game last week 58-42 over the Columbia Lions on Friday night at the Chiles Center.
• Kari Luttinen hit four three-pointers to lead the Pilots with a season-best 20 points; Jasmine Wooton hit eight of nine free throws to finish with 14 points, while Cassandra Thompson had 11 boards.
• The Pilots led by 14 points at the half and built a 21-point lead in the second half en route to the win.
ABOUT THE PILOTS
• Cassandra Brown notched her first career double-double with 28 points and 12 rebounds during Portland's first ever win against Washington, which was a 91-77 victory in Seattle on Nov. 15.
• Brown hit a career-best six three-pointers to help the Pilots match a program record with 15 three's overall.
• The 91 points were the most for the Pilots since also scoring 91 against Washington State in 2010.
• Four Pilots are averaging double figures in scoring (Brown, Luttinen, Byrd, Wooton) and two Pilots (Thompson, Pupa) are averaging at least seven rebounds per game.
• Brown, who has been coming off the bench, is Portland's leading scorer (14.5 ppg) and ranks 10th in the West Coast Conference.
• Cassandra Thompson ranks fourth in the WCC in rebounding (89.2 rpg).
• The Pilots returned 11 letterwinners and four starters from 2012-13, which includes last year's leading scorer Kari Luttinen, who ranked seventh in the WCC with a 12.5 points per game average.
• Brown, a redshirt-junior, missed all of last season while recovering from off-season surgery.
• Portland's roster features three newcomers, which includes 2012 Alaska State High School Player of the Year Hannah Mattson.
• Freshman transfer guard Kaylie Van Loo, who earned all-state honors at Glencoe High School in Hillsboro, comes to UP from the University of Idaho where she was briefly on the track & field team; Van Loo must sit out this season due to NCAA transfer rules.
• Head coach Jim Sollars is in his 28th year at the helm of the Pilots and the victory over Seattle on Nov. 24 was career win No. 400 at the NCAA Division I level.
• Sollars ranks second all-time in WCC wins (164) and he's been named league coach of the year an unprecedented five times.
ABOUT THE OPPONENT(s)
• The Beavers are coming off their first two losses of the season, a 61-56 set-back to Penn State and a 73-70 decision against Florida in the Bahamas.
• OSU ranks 12th in the nation in three-pointers per game (9.0) and is 24th in scoring (82.3 ppg).
• Sophomore guard Jamie Weisner leads a balanced scoring attack by averaging a team-best 12.7 points per game.
• The Broncos split their last two games last week by following a 74-61 loss at South Dakota with a 72-70 home win over Idaho State.

• The Pilots are the top shooting team in the WCC from deep this season, averaging a conference-best 7.0 three's per game.
• During a 91-77 win at Washington (Nov. 15) the Pilots matched a program record with 15 three-pointers; UP was 15 of 24 (.625) overall at UW and Cassandra Brown was six of eight from beyond the three-point arc.
• Kari Luttinen ranks third in the WCC with 13 three's, while Amy Pupa is third in three-point percentage (7-for-13, .538).
ANOTHER MILESTONE
