PORTLAND, Ore. -- Each year, University of Portland student-athletes nominate professors that have a made a major impact on their lives for a Difference Award. This year, the recipients are Steven R. Cook (Adjunct Assistant Professor, Physics), Paddy McShane (Assistant Professor, Philosophy), Lydia Towell (Adjunct Professor, Mathematics) and Shazib Vijlee (Assistant Professor, Engineering).
