PORTLAND, Ore. --- Portland junior Taryn Ries landed on the All-West Coast Conference Women's Soccer First Team, while seniors Lucy Davidson and Anja Koehler both earned all-league honorable mention, it was announced on Tuesday. This is the second straight year to land on the all-conference first team for Ries, a forward who led the Pilots with eight goals.

Ries, who originally hails from Ridgefield, Wash., also had four assists this season for a team-high 20 points. Four of her goals were game-winners, which was tied for third most in the WCC. Ries also ranked seventh in goals per game (0.47), and was eighth in overall goals, points, and points per game (1.18). As a sophomore last year, Ries was voted to the United Soccer Coaches All-West Region Second Team.

Davidson, a midfielder/defender from Scappoose, Ore., scored her first career goal this season, which came during a 3-0 win at Pacific. She appeared in all 17 matches this year, starting 16, and she helped the Pilots post four shutouts.

Koehler is a holding midfielder who spent one year on The Bluff after coming here from Cal. A native of Oceanside, Calif., Koehler scored one goal this season and she helped the team in those four clean sheets. Her and Davidson also played a role in the Pilots allowing the second fewest goals in the WCC.

BYU's Mikayla Colohan earns WCC Player of the Year honors and BYU's Jennifer Rockwood claims WCC Coach of the Year honors for the Cougars. Santa Clara's Alex Loera and Izzy D'Aquila took Defensive Player and Freshman of the Year, respectively, while San Diego's Amber Michel capped a record-breaking career for the Toreros as the Goalkeeper of the Year.

All five individual awards, including the all-conference teams, were voted on solely by the WCC's 10 head coaches.Â
