PORTLAND, Ore --- Portland women's cross country sophomore Anna Pataki received an individual at-large bid to the NCAA Championships following a stellar performance at the NCAA West Regional last weekend.
Pataki claimed ninth place overall with her time of 20:07.3 in the 6K, collecting All-West Region Honors by placing in the top-25.
"Anna ran a perfect race on Friday and I'm really happy she made the national meet," said Portland head coach Ian Solof. "She has done a tremendous job for us this fall and has a lot of potential to keep getting better the next two years. She's a very tough racer so I'm sure she will be ready to compete on Saturday."
The NCAA Championship meet is set for Saturday, November 23 in Terra Haute, Ind.
