PORTLAND, Ore. --- For the third time this season, Portland senior Chris Clements is the Rawlings West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week after securing a pair of victories on the hill. In 10.0 total innings against No. 8 Oregon State and Loyola Marymount, Clements surrendered just two earned runs, gave up only three hits, K'd eight, and walked one.

On Tuesday at Ron Tonkin Field in Hillsboro, Clements came on in relief against No. 8 OSU, working two scoreless innings as the Pilots toppled the Beavers 5-1. He struck out two against OSU and allowed just one hit. Then on Sunday, Clements started against LMU and yielded just two hits in 8.0 innings, allowing the Pilots to claim a 5-3 victory. He struck out six against the Lions and didn't issue a walk.

Clements improved to a perfect 6-0 on the season, he lowered his season ERA to 1.75, and opposing hitters are batting just .153 against him this spring. He was also named the league's pitcher of the week on March 4 and March 11 after registering back-to-back complete-game wins.
