#PilotsGive is 24 hours of the UP community coming together to make a good school great! You can help set a record of $1 million this year by joining our goal of 2,019 donors that will help unlock over $450,000 in challenge funds and bring endless opportunity to our students.
Fans can donate directly to any of the UP athletics programs and that money will go straight to providing premiere student-athlete experiences that develop the whole-person; intellectually, professionally, and athletically. Our student-athletes come to The Bluff from all over the world to compete in our 16 varsity sports and receive an outstanding UP education. To provide such an experience it takes many Pilot supporters, and we need your help!
You can also make a gift to multiple sports and count as a donor towards each team during the competition.
A generous Pilot donor and UP Board of Regent, Steve Shepard '58, is challenging you! Make a gift and cast your vote for your favorite team to put them at the top of the Pilot Athletics Leaderboard. The top three teams at the end of #PilotsGive will unlock additional funds for their program:
• 1st place will receive $9,000
• 2nd place will receive $6,000
• 3rd place will receive $5,000
• 4th place will receive $3,000
• 5th place will receive $2,000
Other challenges include the Thorns Suite Life Challenge. UP Regent and President of Business for the Portland Timbers, Mike Golub has generously donated a suite to the Portland Thorns vs. Washington Spirit match at 7:30pm on August 17th at Providence Park. The first 5 people to donate $2,500 or more during #PilotsGive will receive 2 suite tickets, Portland Thorns scarves, and complimentary food and beverages.
