PORTLAND, Ore. – University of Portland Athletics is proud to celebrate the 34th Annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) as part of a basketball doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 1 at the Chiles Center.
The Pilot women's basketball team hosts San Diego on 2 p.m., followed by the men versus Santa Clara at 5 p.m. All UP women's sports teams will be on hand to host pregame activity stations for kids on the Chiles Center track from 1-2 p.m., while the women's basketball team will have a meet-and-greet post-game autograph session.
The women's game will also highlight a number of iconic moments, memorable teams, and elite women student-athletes that participated in varsity athletics at Portland.
