MISSOULA, Mont. – The Portland women's tennis team beat Montana State 6-1 on Saturday at the Peak Racquet Club to complete a weekend road sweep of the Montana schools. The Pilots (4-2) defeated the Montana Griz by a 6-1 margin on Friday. Portland has now won three matches in a row.

The Pilots secured the doubles point as Laura Okazaki and Emily Soares cruised to a 6-1 win at No. 3 followed by Jelena Lukic and Neli Sunjic clinching with a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles.

Lukic and freshman Iva Zelic then cruised to straight set wins at the top of the singles lineup. Lukic knocked off Laura Mary 6-1, 6-1, while Zelic defeated Linnea Fristam 6-0, 6-0. Sunjic provided the team clincher with a 6-4, 6-2 win against Caitlin Ward at No. 3 singles.

Soares and Angela Schuster also recorded straight set wins to complete the Pilot scoring. JJ Chen picked up the lone point for the Bobcats (2-10) at No. 5 singles.
