SPOKANE, Wash. – Alaia Rubio Perez and Maria Galatescu teamed up for their second topflight doubles title of the season to highlight Portland's effort at the Gonzaga Invite last weekend. The duo previously won the top draw of the Cougar Classic in September.

Other weekend highlights included Rubio Perez reaching the finals of the topflight singles draw, while sophomores Lexie Flores and Isabella Marquart were finalists in the Red Doubles Draw.

Overall, the Pilots went 8-4 in doubles matches and picked up 12 total singles victories.

The event concludes the fall season for Portland. The team will now prepare for the Spring dual season which begins with an East Coast road trip Jan. 22-25 with matches at Stonehill College, Brown and Bryant.
