PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland Pilots travel south on I-5 this evening for a non-conference men's soccer game against the Oregon State Beavers at Paul Lorenz Field. Kickoff for the two in-state rivals is scheduled for 5 p.m.

There is no video stream for the game, but live stats will be available.
Â
The is the second game during this modified spring season for the Pilots (1-0), who opened with a 9-0 win over George Fox at Merlo Field last Wednesday. Both senior Luke Hendel and freshman Brandon Cambridge recorded two goals and assist on the night, and the Pilots scored their most goals since also netting nine during a win over Air Force in 2001.
Â
Oregon State (1-0) began their season with a 6-0 shutout of Eastern Washington at home last week. Sofiane Djeffal and Mouhameth Thiam netted two goal apiece, while Gloire Amanda tallied one goal and three assists. The Beavers are under the direction of their second year head coach Terry Boss.
Â
The Pilots own a 24-4-0 advantage in the all-time series against Oregon, and Portland won the most recent match-up 2-1 at Merlo Field in 2018.
Â
Portland was selected to finish third in the West Coast Conference preseason poll, and both Hendel and sophomore Delentz Pierre were voted to the all-league preseason team.
