PORTLAND, Ore.---The Pilots women's sprinters are headed to the WOU Pop Up Meet on Friday morning, and the rest of the Portland men's and women's track and field teams will head to Eugene in the evening to race in the Oregon Relays at Hayward Field, with events continuing through Saturday.
 
Live results will be available for both meets, and live video will be available for the Oregon Relays with a RunnerSpace +PLUS subscription.
 
Caitlin Kirk, Maya Murphy-Cook, and Ella Parker will kick off the day for the Pilots in Monmouth when they compete in the women's 100 meter dash, starting at 10 a.m.
 
Over in Eugene, Cathal Doyle will open the meet for the Portland men in the 1500 meter run, set to begin at 6:35 p.m., followed by Sofia Castiglioni in the women's 5000 meter run at 6:45 p.m.
 
Last week, women's sprinters Maya Murphy-Cook and Tara Fuiten both cracked the Portland all-time records lists at the Lewis & Clark Invitational Meet, after standout performances in the 200 and 400 meter dashes, respectively. Murphy-Cook's new personal best of 25.16 lands her in fourth-place in program history all by her lonesome in the 200m, as she had also tied the previous fourth-place record the past Thursday at the Willamette Dual Meet. Fuiten captured a solo win at Lewis & Clark and a new PR of 57.02 in the 400m, good for fifth-place all-time in the event.
 
Veteran Caleb Webb also notched a Top-10 best-finish at the Willamette Dual Meet in the men's 800 meter run. His time of 1:51.56 was good for first-place overall on the day, while recording the eighth-best time in school history.
 
The Pilots will continue the 2021 season next week when they remain in-state for the OSU High Performance Meet over in Corvallis, taking place on both Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1.
