MONMOUTH/EUGENE, Ore---Three members of the Pilots women's track and field team claimed Top-10 program best times at the Oregon Relays on Friday evening at Hayward Field, including Veerle Bakker, Maya Murphy-Cook, and Anna Pataki.
 
Bakker ran an impressive 10:19.61 in her debut in the women's 3000 meter steeplechase to earn second-place all-time in the event. Murphy-Cook collected a new personal best in the 200m dash at 24.95 to overtake the second-place best finish in program history. Then in the 5000 meter invitational heat, Pataki clocked in at 16:09.14, good for sixth-place all-time in the race.
 
Sofia Castiglioni recorded a new personal best in the women's 5000m, finishing in 16:37.97 to earn sixth-place on the day.
 
On the men's side, Cathal Doyle registered an individual win in the 1500 meter run, coming in at 3:45.45 in his first appearance in the event.
 
Over in Monmouth at the WOU Pop Up Meet, Tara Fuiten nabbed a first-place victory in the 200m dash with a time of 26.26, and Audrey Lewis was close behind in second-place at 26.59.
 
Ella Parker garnered a new PR in the women's 400m run, improving to 59.75 while finishing in second-place overall.
 
The Pilots will close out the Oregon Relays tomorrow, with Fuiten back to compete in the 400m dash at 11:45 a.m., Laura Pellicoro racing in the 800m run at 12:15 p.m., and Konnor Hathaway concluding the weekend for Portland in the men's 800 at 12:22 p.m.
