Gonzaga, meanwhile, was 7-for-18 from three-point range and 9-for-11 at the foul line compared to 0-for-1 at the stripe for the Pilots as the Bulldogs took a 48-28 lead into halftime.
The Pilots cut the deficit to 17 points midway through the second half as Meadows spurred a run with six straight points, but Gonzaga responded with a 12-0 run to put the game out of reach.

Gonzaga shot 48 percent overall from the field compared to 36 percent for the Pilots. Portland continued its efficient free throw shooting by knocking down 19-of-22 from the stripe.
