PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Portland volleyball team fell to the Pepperdine Waves in three straight sets (13-25, 15-25, 25-27) Thursday at home at Chiles Center. The loss dropped Portland's record to 9-11 overall and 2-7 in WCC play. Jayde Harris finished with six kills on the day to lead the Pilots attack. Portland got seven digs from Maui Robins to lead them defensively.

SET 2 | Portland fell in set two 25-15, digging a 2-0 deficit in the match. The Pilots fell behind on the first point and never took the lead before dropping the set.
SET 3 | Pepperdine finished off the sweep with a set-three win. The Pilots fell in a close set, losing 27-25 in a stanza that was tied three times and had two lead changes.
