Portland Head Coach Nick Carlin-Voigt on the win
"I thought our guys had a really top mentality tonight. Important result tonight as both teams were unbeaten in WCC play. Navigating a season always asks you to get results in different ways. Thought we played a dominant first half and had a very business-like focus and mindset. Guys played with a chip on their shoulder after last weekend and it was good to see the deep levels of competition we have in the group which brings out the best in everyone. We played hungry and determined and used the ball well to create chances in different ways while staying in control. Still things we can do much better and we will continue to stick to our process. Pleased with the clean sheet and we now turn our attention to a good Gonzaga team on the road Wednesday night."
