SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Portland fell 4-0 on the road against the Santa Clara Broncos on Saturday at Stevens Stadium. The loss dropped Portland's record to 9-2-4 overall and 3-2-0 in WCC action.
How it Happened
- Santa Clara opened the scoring with a goal in the 29th minute to put the Broncos up 1-0. Colby Barnett had the assist.
- The Broncos scored four minutes later in the 33rd minute off a goal from Farrah Walters to make it 2-0. Isabel Dehakiz and Marisa Bubnis assisted.
- Izzy D'Aquila scored in the 45th minute to make it 3-0 Broncos right before half. Barnett had the assist.
- Santa Clara closed the scoring with a goal from Cianna Elmazaj. Alyssa Bourgeois earned the assist.
Game Notes
- Even with the loss, the Pilots still hold their best record since 2010 through 15 matches.
- Norris collected five saves for the Pilots.
- Portland put just one shot on goal.
