PROVO, Utah -- The Portland volleyball team could not beat a potent Cougars offense Saturday on the road falling to BYU in straight sets (23-25, 19-25, 10-25). The loss dropped Portland's record to 9-14 overall and 2-10 in WCC play.
Jayde Harris finished with 10 kills on the day to lead the Pilots attack while finishing with a hitting percentage of .25. Portland got 13 digs from Grace Zilbert to lead them defensively.

SET 2 | A 25-19 second-set loss put Portland in a 2-0 hole in the match. Portland trailed by as many as eight points as BYU grabbed the advantage for good at 2-1 in a set that was knotted up just once before the Cougars took over the lead.
SET 3 | Portland could not win the third set and was swept by BYU. The Pilots dropped the first point and fought from behind the rest of the way before falling in the set 25-10.
