MORAGA, Calif. -- The Portland volleyball team fell to the Saint Mary's Gaels in three sets (15-25, 14-25, 23-25) Saturday on the road at UCU Pavilion. The loss dropped Portland's record to 10-18 overall and 3-14 in WCC action.
Charity Bradley finished with eight kills on the day to lead the Pilots attack while finishing with a hitting percentage of .462. The Pilots got 10 digs from Grace Zilbert to lead them defensively.

- Marleena Catalan had a team-high one ace in the loss.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Pilots fell behind early, dropping a tough first set 25-15. Portland trailed by as many as 10 points as Saint Mary's never surrendered the lead throughout the first set.
SET 2 | Portland then dropped the second set 25-14 to fall behind in the match two sets to none. The Pilots lost the first point and never clawed back into the lead before dropping the set.
SET 3 | Saint Mary's finished off the sweep with a third-set victory. The Pilots lost the set 25-23 despite a strong showing on the attacking side. Portland registered a .452 attack percentage with 16 kills in the set loss.
