SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Portland Pilots fell 2-0 on the road against the Gonzaga Bulldogs 2-0 in their final match of the regular season. The loss dropped Portland's record to 11-4-4 overall and 5-4-0 in WCC play.
How it Happened
After the Bulldogs took a 2-0 lead into halfitme, Portland kept Gonzaga scoreless the rest of the way. Bre Norris led Portland with seven saves. The Pilots registered 13 shots in the loss, five of them on goal. Portland faced 17 Gonzaga shots, nine of them on goal.
Game Notes
- Despite the loss, the Pilots finish the year with the most wins since head coach Michelle French's first year at the helm in 2018.
- Norris recorded seven saves for the Pilots out of 17 total Bulldogs shots.
- The Pilots also posted their best win percentage since 2013 at .684
