THIS WEEKEND: STANFORD INVITATIONAL, HAYWARD PREMIERE, NW DISTANCE JAMBOREE
• Portland's men's and women's track and field teams have a three-meet week ahead of them, competing at the Stanford Invitational and Hayward Premiere meets on Friday, April 1, as well as the NW Distance Jamboree on Saturday, April 2.
• Live results will be available to follow all three meets at portlandpilots.com.
• Live video will be available to stream the Stanford Invitational on FloTrack, and the Hayward Premiere will be available to stream provided with a RunnerSpace +PLUS subscription.

LAST MEET: L&C SPRING BREAK OPEN
• A combined five Pilots nabbed individual wins at the L&C Spring Break Open on March 19.
• Riley Osen secured first place overall in the men's 3000m steeplechase with a time of 8:44.52, and Matt Strangio strode into first in the men's 800 meter run, clocking in with a time of 1:51.99.
• Cathal Doyle marked his return in the 1500 meter run with a victory time of 3:45.31, and the Portland men claimed the top four finishes in the race.
• On the women's side, Emma Jenkins garnered an individual win in her debut in the 1500 meter event, coming in at 4:30.63, and Tara Fuiten won the women's 400 meter dash in 58.40.

THIS SEASON
• Five Pilots competed in the men's 10,000 meter run at the Erik Anderson Memorial Icebreaker hosted by Linfield back on March 4.
• John Kavulich, Jona Bodirksy, AJ Reyes, and Luke Knoblich each earned new 10K personal records on the day.

LAST OUTDOOR SEASON
• Cathal Doyle claimed 11th-place overall in the 1500m semifinal races at the 2021 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, setting a new Portland all-time record of 3:39.21 in the event.
• A combined 10 Pilots qualified for the 2021 NCAA West Preliminary Meet, with Laura Pellicoro and Veerle Bakker both returning for Portland women in 2022, as well as Doyle, Jacob Klemz, and Riley Osen for the Portland men.
• Men's veteran Caleb Webb earned the fifth-best all-time 1500m program finish at the Portland Distance Carnival on May 16th, 2021, before appearing with Doyle in the quarterfinal round of the race at the NCAA Championships.
• Doyle collected an individual win in his debut in the men's 800m at the local Portland Twilight, landing the fifth-place UP all-time finish in the race.
• Pellicoro posted the fourth-best finish in school history in the women's 1500m at the UO Twilight on May 7, 2021, and the second-best program finish in the 800m at the OSU High Performance Meet back on May 1st.
• Konnor Hathaway also garnered ninth-place all-time in the men's 800m run at the OSU High Performance Meet.
• The Pilots women nabbed three Top-10 all-time finishes at the Oregon Relays in Eugene: Bakker in the 3000m steeplechase (second-place all-time), Maya Murphy-Cook in the 200m dash (second-place all-time), and Anna Pataki in the 5000m run (sixth-place all-time).
• Sprinter Tara Fuiten cracked fifth-place all time with a first-place victory in the women's 400m dash at the Lewis & Clark Invite on April 17th--one of five individual wins for the Pilots' track and field teams on the day.
• Anna Pataki, Stella Gillman and Sofia Castiglioni produced an impressive performance in the women's 10,000m run at Hayward Field on April 2nd, with Pataki notching second-place in program history at 33:11.30, Gillman in seventh-place all-time with a new PR of 34:02.35, and Castiglioni in 10th-place all-time at 34:24.18.
• Bakker picked up an individual win in the women's 5000m run at the UO Hayward Premiere, locking in ninth-place in Portland's all-time records. The Netherlands native also registered 10th-place in program history in her 1500m debut at the NW Distance Jamboree on April 3.

LOOKING AHEAD
• The Pilots head back to California next week for the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa on April 13, and the Mt. Sac Relays in Walnut on April 14.
• The teams are set to compete at two more meets hosted by Lewis & Clark during the 2022 outdoor season, set for April 16 and May 14.
• Portland will also compete at historic Hayward Field twice more throughout the year, first at the UO Relays on April 21, and again at the UO Twilight on May 6.
• Both squads then compete in Corvallis at the OSU High Performance Meet on April 29.
• The Pilots will make their annual appearance at the local Portland Twilight Meet on May 7.
• NCAA First Round action is marked for May 25-28 in Fayetteville, Ark., with the NCAA Championships locked in for June 8-11 in Eugene.
