EUGENE, Ore.---Pilots sprinter Ella Parker notched two Top-10 program best finishes at two different meets on Saturday, claiming sixth-place all-time and an individual win in the women's 200m dash at the NW Distance Jamboree, after collecting 10th-place all-time in the women's 400 meter dash at the Hayward Premiere.
 
Teresa Perez earned first-place overall debuting in the women's 800m run at the NW Distance Jamboree held at Titan Stadium, clocking in with a time of 2:15.54.
 
Ellie Erikson's 4:42.47 was good for second on the day in her first appearance in the women's 1500m run.
 
"Good 800s for Laura and Teresa, and Ellie Erikson also ran a nice 1500," said women's head coach Ian Solof. "Ella Parker looked great in the 400, getting a very solid PR."
 
For the Portland men, Luke Knoblich took second in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 10:06.95.
 
AJ Reyes, Kai Vickers and Nico Grillo each nabbed new personal bests in the men's 5000m run, with Reyes' 14:53.40 putting him third, Vickers' 15:15.19 in 11th, and Grillo's 15:47.99 in 18th.
 
The Portland track and field teams have a week off from competition before heading to California for the Bray Clay Invitational on Wednesday, April 13, ahead of the Mt. Sac Relays on Thursday, April 14.
