CORVALLIS, Ore. -- The Portland Pilots lost to the Utah State Aggies in three sets (14-25, 22-25,16-25) Saturday at Gill Coliseum. The non-conference loss moved Portland to 5-3 on the season. Jayde Harris finished with 10 kills on the day to lead the Pilots attack, while Marleena Catalan scored 10 digs to lead the team defensively.

SET 1 | The Pilots found themselves in an early deficit, dropping a tough first set 25-14. Portland trailed by as many as 11 points as Utah State grabbed the advantage for good at 2-1.

SET 2 | Portland then lost the second set 25-22 to fall behind in the match two sets to none. The Pilots trailed by as many as six points as Utah State grabbed the advantage for good at 12-11 in a set that was knotted up seven times before the Aggies took over the lead.

SET 3 | Utah State finished the sweep with a set-three victory. The Pilots fell in a tough set 25-16. Portland trailed by as many as 10 points as Utah State grabbed the advantage for good at 11-10.
