PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Portland Pilots secured a victory in their conference opener and remained unbeaten through 10 games with a 2-1 win over the Saint Mary's Gaels. The Pilots are 7-0-3 on the season.
How it Happened
- Portland opened the scoring when Jacob Babalai recorded his fourth goal of the season in the 31st minute, assisted by Nick Fernandez.
- The Gaels evened the game on a goal from Omar Yehya in the 51st minute.
- Portland went on top 2-1 on Brandon Cambridge's 59th-minute goal, his sixth of the season, off a penalty kick. The foul was drawn by Fernandez. The 2-1 score held to the end of the game.
