LIBERTY, Ore. -- The Pilot women finish second overall at the George Oja Linfield Invitational, led by Tiahna Woodger's seventh place finish in a PR time of 21:18.9 for the 6K distance. Woodger's time cuts almost 90 seconds from her previous personal best of 22:42.8.
Woodger was followed closely by Stina Pettersson who finished eighth in a 37 second personal best of 21:24.2. Tait Rowley came in shortly after in 15th with a time of 21:47.9 to run a nearly 43 second PR. Rowley was followed by Freshman Izzy Lochtefeld finished 17th in 21:53.1 to run 49 seconds faster than her previous best, and finally, Katie Newton rounds out the Pilot's scoring-five by finishing 24th with a 29 second personal best to finish in 22:23.9. ??Madison Griffith (53rd, 23:22.5), Milan Hague (80th, 24:05.4) and Alexa Hague (114th, 24:56.0) also competed for the Pilots on the day.
