SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- The Portland volleyball team could not out-play a dynamic Toreros offense Thursday on the road losing to San Diego in straight sets (20-25, 12-25, 15-25). The loss dropped Portland's record to 6-14 overall and 1-7 in WCC action.
Maui Robins finished with eight kills on the day to lead the Pilots' offense. Portland got 8 digs from Maddie Corpe to lead them defensively.

SET 2 | Portland then lost the second set 25-12 to fall behind in the match two sets to none. The Pilots dropped the first point and never took the lead before dropping the set.
SET 3 | Portland was not able to win set three and was swept by San Diego. The Pilots fell behind on the first point and never took the lead before losing the set 25-15.
