Emme Shearer led the Pilots (6-6) with 12 points. Dyani Ananiev added nine points and Natalie Fraley added another seven, both coming off the bench.
How It Happened

The Pilots continued to chip away, reducing the Stanford lead to 36-25 heading into the break, holding the Cardinal to just eight points in the quarter.
Portland's deficit continued to grow after halftime, and the Pilots faced a 61-38 disadvantage heading to the fourth quarter. Stanford kept widening its lead in the fourth, constructing a 77-42 advantage before Portland went on a 7-0 run, finished off by Florence Dallow's jumper, to shrink the deficit to 77-49 with 1:21 to go in the contest. Stanford responded and outscored the Pilots the rest of the way, ending the game with a final score of 81-51.
