INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Laura Pellicoro has qualified for the NCAA Indoor Track Championships in the women's mile event for the second year in a row, announced by the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Track and Field and Cross Country Committee on Tuesday.
Following an extremely successful season, highlighted by five school records, Pellicoro earned her bid to nationals after recording a new personal best mile of 4:32.91 at the Ken Shannon Last Chance meet hosted by University of Washington.
"Laura making the indoor nationals again is a huge accomplishment," said Coach Ian Solof. "This was the toughest year ever to qualify but she is such an amazing competitor. She has elevated herself this year and I am excited to see what she can do in Albuquerque."
The championships, hosted by the University of New Mexico and the City of Albuquerque, will be held March 10 and 11 at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, NM. The complete list of participants is available
here.
Live championship coverage will be streamed on ESPN+ on Friday, March 10 starting at 11:30 a.m. Eastern and Saturday, March 11 starting at 1:30 p.m. Eastern. There will be two re-airs of the meet.
