FOREST GROVE, Ore. -- On a rainy and windy day in Forest Grove, Ore., the Pilots competed well, consistently collecting top positions in each event, and recording new PRs. 

 

Sam Prusse finished third overall in the women's 1500 meter in a time of 4:33.70. She was followed closely by Mathilde Deswaef in fourth with a time of 4:34.25 The Pilot's top male finisher in the men's 1500 was Kevin Andrews who finished seventh in 4:03.85. 

 

The Pilots collected third place finishes in both the men's and the women's 400 meter dash, with Tiahna Woodger running 1:00.95 and Yutaka Roberts running 51.55. 

 

Aidan Fitzgerald was able to collect a third place in the men's 800 meter in 1:56.06. 

 

Tait Rowley and Katie Newton both ran new personal bests in the women's 5,000 meter running 18:08.91 and 19:03.58, respectfully. The men's 5,000 meter was highlighted by AJ Reyes' third place finish in a time of 15:00.04. Evan DeLaCruz finished closely behind in 15:05.94 for fourth. 

 

The day concluded with the Pilots team of Ella Parker, Teresa Perez, Stina Pettersson and Avery Gill taking the victory in the women's 4x400 meter relay in 3:58.97. 

The Pilots will take two weeks to prepare for the Bryan Clay Invitational and the Mt. SAC Invitational in Southern California on Apr. 13th - Apr. 15th.
