SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- The Portland Pilots extended their unbeaten streak to seven with a 0-0 draw against the San Francisco Dons at the Hilltop on Wednesday. Portland moved to 6-2-4 overall and 1-0-1 in WCC play following the tie.
Portland registered 16 shots in the scoreless tie, four of them on goal. The Pilots faced nine San Francisco shots, two of them on goal. Bre Norris recorded two saves and earned her fourth shutout of the season.
How it Happened
Both halves finished scoreless in San Francisco, with the first half seeing the teams battle it out in an even matchup. The Pilots got seven shots off while the Dons had six, with both teams putting two of those on frame.
The second half saw the Pilots be the aggressors, with Portland taking nine shots in the final 45 to San Francisco's three. The Pilots held the Dons to just one shot in the final 15 minutes, with the Pilots getting seven of their shots off in that timeframe. Neither team, however, found the back of the net, with the match ending in a 0-0 draw.

- Norris piled up two saves for the Pilots out of nine total Dons shots.
- Norris has allowed just seven goals on the year through 11 games. This is her fourth shutout of the year and the 34th of her career, officially moving her into a tie for third all-time in career shutouts.
- As a whole, the Pilots have allowed the same number of goals through 12 games.
- The Pilots are unbeaten in their last seven matches. This is the third year in a row they've put together a streak of at least seven matches unbeaten.
