PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Portland Pilots and Santa Clara Broncos ended in a 0-0 draw Friday at Merlo Field. Portland moved to 2-4-4 overall and 0-0-1 in WCC action with the tie.
Portland registered 17 shots in the scoreless tie, six of them on goal. The Pilots faced eight Santa Clara shots, three of them on goal. Kash Oladapo led Portland with three saves.
How it Happened
The Pilots outshot the Broncos 11-1 in the first half, finding several chances in the box early on. The second half saw the play even out slightly, with the Pilots taking six shots to the Broncos' seven. Neither team gained a clear advantage, leading to the 0-0 tie.
