PORTLAND, Ore. -- Cally Togiai notched three assists in the Portland Pilots' 3-1 home win over the Pacific Tigers, the most in a match for a Pilot since 2011. The victory boosted Portland's record to 7-3-4 overall and 2-1-1 in WCC play.
Three different Pilots scored for Portland, with Ruby Settle, Hailey Bagby and Aliyah Dockter all scoring goals for the Pilots.
How it Happened
Portland opened the scoring when Ruby Settle notched her second goal of the season in the eighth minute, assisted by Cally Togiai. Togiai pressed Pacific's Sierra Schwarz and popped it up top for Settle to finish it off.
The Pilots extended their lead to 2-0 on a goal from Hailey Bagby -- her fourth goal of the season -- in the 46th minute, assisted by Togiai. Bagby launched it from well to the right of the goal and snuck it past Pacific for a rocket of a goal.
Pacific closed the gap to 2-1 on Alexis Pashales' 70th-minute goal. But the Pilots built back their two-goal lead with a 75th-minute goal from Aliyah Dockter, her first goal of the season. Togiai and Bagby assisted the goal, playing it back and forth before finding a cutting Dockter. The match ended at 3-1.
