PORTLAND, OR --The Portland Pilots took care of business in three sets (25-19, 25-13, 25-23) to beat the Gonzaga Bulldogs Saturday at home. The win improved the Pilots' record to 11-10 overall and 4-7 in WCC action. 

Elin Larsson finished with a match-high 10 kills on the day to lead the Pilots attack while finishing with a hitting percentage of .360. Portland got a match-high15 digs from Tinoa Woodward-Hart to lead them defensively.

SET 1 | The Pilots took set one 25-19 helped by a strong performance on the attacking side. Portland put together a .375 attack percentage with 11 kills in the set victory.  Portland also supplemented their offense with four aces in the opening set. 

SET 2 | Portland built on a set-one win by securing a 25-13 victory in set number two. The Pilots earned the set victory thanks to a solid performance on the attacking side. Portland put together a .419 attack percentage with 15 kills in the set win. The Pilots ended on a strong note, stretching their lead to its largest point in the set to finish out. The Portland offense also got a boost from three aces in the set. 

SET 3 | Portland then finished off the match with a victory in set number three. The Pilots took the lead for good at 19-18 in a set that had just one lead change before Portland took over in the second half. They then carried that lead to a 25-23 set win. The Portland offense also got a boost from three aces in the set.
