CORVALLIS, Ore. -- The Portland Pilots could not overcome a dynamic Beavers offense Thursday on the road losing to Oregon State in straight sets (19-25, 19-25, 4-25). The loss dropped Portland's record to 12-14 overall and 5-11 in WCC play.
Taina Kaauwai finished with nine kills on the day to lead the Pilots attack while finishing with a hitting percentage of .529. Portland got six digs from Tinoa Woodward-Hart to lead them defensively.

SET 3 | Portland couldn't prolong the match and lost in set number three. The Pilots fell behind early on and never clawed back into the lead before falling in the set.
