SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- Eliason Kabasenche has been named to the WCC Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team, as announced by the conference. To qualify, athletes must have participated in at least half their team's games, maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher, and reached at least sophomore standing.
Kabasenche, a graduate student pursuing an MBA, competed in five meets for the Pilots this season. He recorded a season-best time of 18:36.3 in the 6K at the Gator Cross on Sep. 14 and posted his season top 8K time of 25:31.8 at the Charles Bowles Willamette XC Invitational.
