WAIPAHU, Hawaii -- The Portland Pilots came up short against the Baylor Bears 1-0 Saturday at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Stadium. The loss dropped Portland's record to 2-1-1 overall and 1-1 in the OUTRIGGER Invitational.
How it Happened
The lone goal of the game came in the 44th minute courtesy of Callie Conrad, giving the Bears a 1-0 lead. Portland kept Baylor scoreless the rest of the way, but did not find the equalizer. Bre Norris recorded two saves on the day defensively while offensively Portland registered 12 shots in the loss, five of them on goal. Portland faced nine Baylor shots, three of them on goal.
