SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- The Portland Pilots fell to the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos 3-0 Sunday on the road at Meredith Field at Harder Stadium. Portland fell to 2-4-2 on the season with the loss. Alexis Ledoux, Kaden Standish and Haruki Utsumi all scored for the Gauchos.
How it Happened
The Gauchos drew a penalty in the 34th minute that led to their first goal. Ledoux knocked in the penalty. In the 36th minute, Santa Barbara added to the lead with a goal from Standish, assisted by Ledoux.
Peleg Brown took a second yellow card to put the Gauchos down 10 men in the 56th minute. UCSB scored 15 minutes later, with Utsumi scoring his goal, assisted by Standish. The score would stay at 3-0.
