GOLD RIVER, Calif. – The Portland Pilots competed the at the Head of the American at Gold River on Saturday, partaking in the collegiate eights and collegiate pairs races.
Portland had five pairs race on the day, competing against eight other schools. The pair of Jo Patton and Kylin Gahlmann was the fastest duo for Portland, finishing with a time of 22:35.8. The eights competed against nine different schools on the day, with the Portland A boat finishing fastest. Leahbelle Paladino was the coxswain while Molly Spraker was the stroke.
The Pilots will be back in action next spring, heading back to Sacramento for the Sacramento State Invitational. The team races on March 7. Check PortlandPilots.com for more information.
